Prototype Lab
Establish the measurement, characterization, and short-sample wire fabrication infrastructure. Prove the ZR-HTS wire architecture before major CAPEX deployment.
Produce 1–10 m ZR-HTS wire samples and validate their critical current (Ic) retention, mechanical bend performance, and cryogenic characterization reproducibility.

Pilot Wire Line & Devices
Convert commercially sourced REBCO tapes into saleable ZR-HTS wire and conductor device products. Deploy the first commercial pilot lots to customers for integration testing.
Deliver HTS device prototypes (SFCL coils, power line sections) and establish 50–100 m saleable conductor production capability scalable to kilometer lengths.

Full Coated-Conductor Pilot
Localize the highest-value component of the HTS tape supply chain — the REBCO superconducting thin-film deposition itself — eliminating India's dependency on foreign tape imports.
Produce 10–100 m of in-house REBCO tape with integrated Indian tape-to-wire stack and establish a full domestic commercial supply chain.
